At the CES 2022, Asus announced the new gaming monitors ROG Swift OLED 48 inches and 42 inches. It is undeniable that to attract attention is above all this last variant, which we have also seen in the new TV LG C2 revealed just yesterday.
The 48-inch model features a 4K display with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, response time of 0.1 ms, 10Hz update frequency, 10-bit colors with 98% coverage of the color space.
The port and connectivity compartment includes two HDMI 2.1 inputs, two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a DisplayPort jack, audio inputs and a USB hub.
ASUS during the presentation phase also noted that the two displays obtained anti-reflective treatment and are covered with a micro-texture coating that ensures better color accuracy.
Clearly, the 48-inch and 42-inch ROG Swift OLED supports variable refresh frequency and Auto Low Latency Mode.
No information, at least at the moment, about prices and especially the date of launch of these monitors, which will surely represent one of the obvious choices of the video players. We’ll update you as soon as we have more information on this.
Yesterday, ASUS ROG also presented new laptops with Intel Alder Lake processors, Ryzen 6000 and NVIDIA graphics.
