Bill Gates Avoids Space Travel: “I Want To Get Rid Of Malaria And Tuberculosis”

1 Mins read

Bill Gates returns to the spotlight of the press for new important statements about his future philanthropy. After saying his name about the metaverse, Microsoft’s co-founder gave an interview with CNN to talk about his disinterest in the space race. The priorities are different for him.

During the conversation with the US media portal, he said that the space race will leave it to Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, that is SpaceX and Blue Origin. The competition between them is already quite heated, so there would be no room for a new name in the industry.

Its real priority is one: • We can get rid of malaria and tuberculosis, and all the terrible diseases in poor countries, this will be my next goal •. His philanthropic efforts through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, with the collaboration of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court, just recently eradicated oncocercosis (or river blindness) in Niger, which is An initial step that, for Bill Gates, is only a demonstration of the possibility of doing so for the whole continent.

The desire for 2022, however, remains to eradicate polio: è una causa grande e importante per me. So if Afghanistan stays stable, then finally polio could be reduced to zero. And we’ve been working on it for over 20 years. With Taliban leadership in the Middle East, the vaccination campaign has taken its door-to-door approach, reaching all children in just a month. If the situation were to remain stable, perhaps the efforts of the experts funded by Bill Gates could bring the hoped-for fruits.

Microsoft, meanwhile, has another “disease” to eradicate: it is the very serious vulnerability Log4Shell is hitting many realities.
