A few weeks after Black Friday 2021, Idealo released his “photography” on the research recorded in the last week of November, culminating on November 26 in Black Friday and November 30 in Cyber Monday.
Judging by the data, in terms of purchase intentions, Italians who chose Black Friday of Shopping to make online purchases are 25% more than the average of the other days of Black Week. Those who have waited for November instead are +23% compared to October 2021. Sunday is confirmed the preferred time for online shopping.
Ideal shows that the e-shopper of Black Friday is typically man, between 35 and 44 years old. Research focused mainly on mobile between 21 and 22 in the evening.
In terms of products and categories, the queen of Black Friday 2021 confirms her electronics: the most sought after product is the Nintendo Switch, followed by Fifa 22. Among smartphones, however, Apple smartphones surpass Android: users’ online interest has focused on iPhone 12, which has surpassed iPhone Xr and iPhone 13 (just a few hours).
Among the most sought after products in the category of appliances, instead, we find the kitchen robots (+202% compared to October), dryers (+186%), vacuum cleaners (+145%), dishwasher (+137%) and ovens (+134%).
