In the recent episode of Lex Fridman’s podcast, SpaceX CEO and Tesla Elon Musk came back to discuss the Dogecoin, and he said in no uncertain terms that it is better than anything I’ve ever seen.
During the conversation, which was also taken up by Musk on his Twitter profile, the South African billionaire compared Bitcoin and Doge, expressing opinions in favour of the latter token.
Once again, Musk reminded Fridman that compared to Bitcoin (which remains the most famous and widespread cryptocurrency worldwide), Dogecoin has a higher volume of transactions and lower commissions. Following what was previously said about Bitcoin, Elon Musk explained that this “can’t be used effectively for most things” due to the very high transaction cost. In addition, it also expressed concerns about the speed of transactions that are “comically low” to be in 2021.
Elon Musk has repeatedly spoken about Dogecoin during the year that is about to end: just a few weeks ago he announced that Tesla will allow purchases with Dogecoin, but only for merchandising.
At the moment we’re writing, DOGE is traded at 0.1701 Dollars, 6.40 percent less than yesterday.
