Elon Musk Talks About Tesla’s Ai-Based Robot: “I’ll Make Sure It’s Safe”

1 Mins read

A few weeks ago Tesla revealed the humanoid robot Tesla Bot, amidst the general amazement of the audience, since such a move was not expected. The South African CEO answered a number of questions about the project through his official Twitter account, giving interesting ideas for discussion.

One user, specifically, asked Musk some questions about artificial intelligence and Tesla Bot, evidently referring to the previous statements of the same CEO who had spoken about the danger of AI for humanity. SpaceX’s boss said that “Robots are coming anyway, as shown by the videos of Boston Dynamics. I am not able to guarantee that robots made by other companies are safe, but I will do my best to make sure that those produced by Tesla are safe.”

Just a few days ago Boston Dynamics released a new video showing the hilarious falls of his robots, which had previously been framed as they were performing stunts.

Many have, however, raised some doubts about the Tesla Bot project: some say that it would be a simple announcement to divert attention from the problems of the car manufacturer, while others look forward to seeing him at work. Musk had also shown interest in this world and had welcomed the videos of Boston Dynamics.
