We are discussing the arrival of HBO Max in Europe for a long time now, but it is now all official: soon users of the Old Continent will also be able to access the streaming service.
In fact, according to the reports of Engadget and The Verge, HBO Max, which we remember in 2021 was the focus of various issues related to the distribution of films streaming in parallel with cinemas, will land in Europe on 26 October 2021 More specifically, the “lucky” countries will be Spain, Andorra, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
In other words, Italy remains off the list for now. In this context, therefore, there are not a few people who are wondering when the well-known streaming service will actually be launched in our country. A possible response came in the context of the announcement of the arrival in Europe of HBO Max.
In fact, it has already been confirmed that in 2022 the launch of the service will take place also in other countries. More specifically, the confirmed ones are currently 14: Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Moldova, Montenegro, Hungary, Northern Macedonia, Portugal, Romania, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia. In any case, HBO Max will also be launched in additional markets during the same year, which are not better known at the moment.
In other words, 2022 could be the right year for the arrival of the streaming service in Italy. However, for the moment there is still nothing confirmed about our country: we will see.
