2 Mins read

The Honor 60 and 60 Pro smartphones leaked yesterday in the technical sheet were presented in the last hours in China, officializing their launch on the domestic market. The launch in the West is expected distant, considering that the predecessors have recently arrived in the Belpaese. So what’s the difference between Honor 50 and Honor 60?

Let’s see the differences from the final technical specifications of Honor 60: the new smartphone features the same OLED Full HD+ screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz, but with a diagonal of 6.67 inches (against 6.57 inches) The design is also slightly different, since the curved edges are more pronounced and the notch punch-hole seems to occupy less space.

Coming right to the camera, there are no big differences: Honor 60 always has a 108 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide angle and a 2 MP macro lens behind it. We notice the absence of a fourth 2 MP sensor for depth, present on Honor 50, and the presence of a 32 MP selfie lens but with f/2.4 aperture instead of f/2.2.

Under the shell the chipset remains also on Honor 60 the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G produced on a 6-nanometer process, accompanied by the following memory cuts: 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, 8/256 Only 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory are missing, present with Honor 50. The battery, however, increases in capacity to 4,800 mAh, keeping the fast charging from 66W and also equipped with the reverse charging from 5W.

The Honor 60 Pro is also official, which has a design side, but a major difference compared to Honor 50 Pro: the notch punch-hole no longer houses two sensors placed in the top right, but a single ultra-wide-angle sensor with 50 MP, against the Later, the camera module consists of a 108 MP main sensor equal to the previous one, a 2 MP macro and a new 50 MP ultra-wide angle sensor that, on Honor 50 Pro, was 8 MP. The 2 MP lens is absent for depth.

There is a slight upgrade to the display side since it goes from 6,72 to 6,78, but still stays on a 120Hz OLED, while the heart beating is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ 5G, enhanced version Memory cuts are the same (8/256 GB and 12/56 GB), while battery side is changed from 4,000 to 4,800 mAh, but with fast charging from 66W instead of 100W.

To the delight of European users, the software side will remain the Android operating system with Google Mobile Services. Prices on the domestic market start at 374 Euro at the current exchange rate for Honor 60 from 8/128 GB and arrive at 554 Euro for Honor 60 Pro 12/56 GB. However, since this is a non-European launch, we recommend that we wait for more official information for our stores. For now we have to settle for Honor 50 with prices starting from 529 Euro.
