Well, the main novelty implemented by Apple, as anticipated by the rumors related to iPhone 13 arrived in the days that preceded the keynote, is the presence of a Super Retina XDR OLED display with ProMotion technology In other words, there is a panel with a refresh rate that reaches up to 120Hz. The system can automatically manage the refresh rate depending on the user’s needs, starting from 10Hz. In short, the refresh rate increased finally arrived on the iPhones. By the way, the brightness of the screen reaches up to 1200 nit. The diagonals? 6,1 and 6,7 inches.

There are also different colours and premium materials. The new Sierra Blue variant attracted attention. Obviously, you have the support for MagSafe and the powerful A15 Bionic chip with 5-core GPUs, which according to Apple guarantees a 50% improvement in graphics. There is also support for 5G.

For the rest, Apple has decided to renew the photo department as well. Among the main innovations, there is the possibility of macro. In addition, all lenses have the possibility to use Night Mode. In any case, the sensors on the back are a 77mm telephoto lens (optical zoom 3x), an ultra-wide with f/1.8 aperture and a wide with f/1.5 aperture. The company has promised important improvements, especially in low-light contexts.

In the video business, Tim Cook has put the photo industry of iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max to the test by some Oscar-winning directors. On the other hand, the Cinematic Mode already announced with iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini is well matched with this type of use. The results shown during the event are clearly of high quality, but you will have to try everything with your hand. In addition, now you can also register in ProRes in 4K/30fps directly from the Camera app.

In addition, autonomy has been improved. For example, Apple estimates that iPhone 13 Pro Max lasts 2.5 hours longer than iPhone 12 Pro Max. At storage level, storage space can now reach up to 1TB, thanks to the appropriate cut. There are also the most classic 128GB, 256GB and 512GB.

As far as prices and availability are concerned, we have only foreign details for the moment (in any case, further information will probably come shortly). Shipments will start from 24 September 2021: iPhone 13 Pro has a starting price of $999, while iPhone 13 Pro Max has a starting cost of $1099.

For the rest, we remember that during the event there were also many other ads, from the new iPad and iPad Mini to the new Apple Watch Series 7 smartwatch (there is also the Apple Fitness+ landing place in Italy). Moreover, there was also the announcement of the base model and the Mini variant of iPhone 13.

Update at 21:06 14/09/2021: Tim Cook’s company has unveiled the local prices of iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The preorders will start from 14:00 on 17 September 2021, while availability will start from 24 September 2021. The starting costs are respectively 1189 euros and 1289 euros.
