Lg Expands The Range Of Qned Miniled Lcd Tvs With New 8K And 4K Models

After discussing and unscrewing the specifications of the new lineup of TV LG OLED 2022, we will focus on the other great news announced by the TV division of the Asian company at the CES 2022: the expansion of the QNED range.

During the panel, LG announced the new QNED TV models for 2022.

The QNED99 will be the LG 8K LCD TV for 2022 and will be available in 65, 76 and 86-inch versions with 2500 dimming zones. The QNED95 is the most affordable 8K LCD model, with 50/60Hz panel and miniLED backlight.

QNED90 and QNED85 will be the LCD 4K TV for 2022, with miniLED local dimming and sizes ranging from 55 to 86 inches. The QNED80 is a miniLED LCD TV and no advanced local dimming, and will probably represent the cheapest offer.

During the LG conference he spoke of a new algorithm of local dimming improved compared to the models of last year, which suffered from blooming and low contrast. For this reason, the company has long focused on the features of Precision Dimming Pro and Pro Plus. Technically, on the new TVs we find the Alpha 9 Gen 5 or Alpha 7 Gen 5 processors.

As seen on OLEDs, QNED 2022 will also be equipped with the UI webOS 2.2, HDMI 2.1 with 4k120fps, VRR (only in some models), Filmmaker Mode, Game Dashboard and Game Optimi The “Always Ready” feature will only be available on QNED99, 95 and 90.
