At the CES 2022 in Las Vegas, Sony presented the new range of TV OLED MASTERs from the A95K, A90K and A80K series, which are coming to the stores in the coming months. Let’s go see what the technical specifications and differences are.
Starting from the 65-inch and 55-inch MASTER Series A95K lineup, we find the Cognitive Processor XR that is able to understand the habits and tastes of users to immerse them in their favorite content. Also present is the XR OLED Contrast Pro function, which adjusts brightness for higher peaks in reflections and deeper blacks in shadows, while the XR Triluminos Max is able to reproduce natural shades with every detail. Sony also noted that the new QD-OLED panel increases the brightness of the color up to 200% compared to traditional television sets.
At the audio level, we find the Acoustic Surface Audio+ which, using special speakers, transforms the screen into a multichannel speaker so that the sound matches exactly what you see. On TVs we also find two other speakers and two subwoofers, while the Acoustic Center Sync optimizes the audio output of the TV and soundbar for a better audio experience.
The MASTER Series A90K 48 and 42 inches, also with OLED screens, is also presented. Also in this case is the Cognitive Processor XR processor, with the OLED OLED Contrast PRO and the Acoustic Surface Audio+. TVs are compatible with BRAVIA CAM accessories and the Ambient Optimization Pro, and are accompanied by the new premium remote control. At the software level, on the whole line we find Google TV that gives quick access to a wide range of content and TV.
The line’s L-A80K will be available in 77, 65 and 55-inch models and is combined with the Cognitive Processor XR and the L-XR OLED Contrast Pro, as well as the Acoustic Surface Audio From the audio front, however, we point out the presence of three speakers and two subwoofers: two main speakers are dedicated to others and strengthen the sound and surround. The remote control is the standard one, with simple and easy to use and clean design.
Availability in Europe and prices will be announced later.
