More news from the Whatsapp front. WABetaInfo colleagues in a new post posted on the official blog have shown a new feature coming on the instant messaging platform, which will further expand the privacy options available to users.
As we show in the screenshot below, users will have the opportunity to hide the last access only to certain people.
Currently the options in the “privacy” tab are: all my contacts and none. Well, to these will be added “my contacts except…” Selecting it will make it possible to make the last access visible to everyone except for the persons indicated.
The screenshot was acquired by the iOS version, where tests are being carried out, but it will presumably also be available on the Android counterpart. It is not clear when it will be available for everyone, but since it is a minor feature you should not wait long before you can put your hands on it.
At the same time, Whatsapp also announced a reduction in support for some versions of iOS and Android. From November 1st the app will no longer run on some builds of operating systems, but as we have had the chance to indicate in the news dedicated are no longer very widespread as they are now dated.
