Windows 10 Updates With The First Patch Of 2022: Fixed Some Bugs

1 Mins read

Today Microsoft has wanted to please all its loyal users: at the same time as the cumulative update KB5009566 for Windows 11 released in the morning, the Redmond giant wanted to make available the cumulative patch KB5009543 for Windows 10. Let’s see together what it brings with it and how to get it on your PC.

As taken from Windows Latest, KB5009543 is a security-only patch and will also include the optional cumulative update last month. This update does not include general improvements or corrections not related to safety, ergo is almost a patch \ minor \ given the absence of great news.

We remember, at this point, that the number of the Build varies depending on the version of Windows 10 installed: if you use Windows 10 version 21H2 (i.e. you have already downloaded the update of November 2021), you will get the Build 19044.14 Those on version 21H1 will receive the build 19043.1466 with the same set of bug fixes, while those who are still at version 20H2 will get the Build 19042.1466. Support for the 2004 version, however, is over. To download the update, you will need to go to the Windows Update section within the Settings, where you can simply press the button to check the availability in order to check the presence of the update.

But what are the bug fixes implemented by developers located in Redmond? First, a problem has been officially solved so the Japanese Input Method Editor may not work as planned, showing the text inserted in a mess. In the case of the Build 19044.1466, however, an improvement for the Windows Update system will also come in, thanks to which scanning and receiving updates will become even easier.

Instead, some bugs related to Outlook search are unsolved, which would prevent the viewing of emails in the results. Microsoft has already confirmed that it is all-enabled on the grid, looking for a solution to be implemented as soon as possible.

Finally, it should be noted that with this patch Tuesday Microsoft has solved 96 security vulnerabilities.
